Leading the BC Salmon Brand

I have served as the Marketing Director and Brand Manager for BC Salmon in British Columbia for the past seven years. During this time, I successfully led a brand overhaul and repositioning initiative to establish a strong presence in the market. My part-time contract focuses on generating brand awareness by collaborating with local retailers to provide them with essential brand materials for promoting our Go Wild BC Seafood brand. Additionally, I work closely with commercial fishermen, highlighting their stories and emphasizing why wild BC salmon is a premium Canadian product.

Under BC Funding, I handle all funding applications and ensure the smooth operation of BC Salmon. As part of my role, I hire recipe content creators on a monthly basis to develop recipes for social media and our website. I personally handle all design work, including website creation, messaging, photo/video direction, coordination, and digital content development, to maintain a visually captivating and cohesive brand image.

Through my dedicated efforts as Marketing Director and Brand Manager, I am committed to elevating BC Salmon’s brand awareness, emphasizing the exceptional quality of our wild BC salmon, and fostering meaningful connections between our product and consumers.
